Seal and Heidi Klum have released a statement saying that they are still very much in love and are hoping for an amicable divorce.
The couple announced that they have "grown apart" earlier this week, but have now insisted that there is no blood between either of them.
According to Mail Online, the statement claimed that both halves of the couple are making their four children's well-being their top priority during the divorce process.
It said: "This is an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority, especially during this time of transition. We thank our family, friends, and fans for their kind words of support."
Despite this civil separation, many professionals would still recommend that the couple still use divorce solicitors to ensure that financial assets are divided evenly throughout the process. This would appear especially important considering the wealth that both Seal and Heidi Klum have generated for themselves.
The Daily Mirror reported that Seal has refused to remove his wedding ring during the several public appearances he made recently in order to promote his new album.
During his appearance on the 'Ellen DeGeneres Show', he reportedly said that the ring was a token of the continued feelings of love he was experiencing for his wife.
