Former celebrity couple Courtney Cox and David Arquette have found that they communicate better now that they have separated, reports Contactmusic.com.
Cox, most famous for her role has Monica Gellar on hit television show 'Friends', described how it has been a "tough year" since breaking up with her husband of 11 years, but there have been benefits, such as being more able to talk.
The 47-year-old claimed that both she and Arquette have grown a great deal since their split. In her opinion, they are closer now than they were before, giving hope for the future to couples currently seeing divorce solicitors.
She said: "The great thing is that even though we are separated, David and I are still so close. We're able to talk through everything that happens, so I know that we're both often feeling the same way and that makes me feel less alone."
Arquette and Cox have an 11-year-old daughter named Coco, but the odds of the pair getting back together appear slim, following comments by Arquette to the DJ Howard Stern this month, according to CTV News.
He explained that he would not consider getting back together with her even if Cox said she had made a mistake and wanted to try again. Arquette is now in a relationship with reporter Christina McLarty, explaining that both he and his estranged wife cried when they talked about his new love.
