Crisp & Co have always been committed to providing legal service to all. Until 2009 we continued to supply legal services to clients who were eligible for Legal Aid. Reluctantly, we had to cease providing this service when it became economically unviable to continue. The Government are now, in any event, planning to scrap Legal Aid except in cases of domestic violence and where the Local Authority have become involved with the children.
We are aware that there are many people who now find that they cannot afford to pay private client rates for Solicitor’s services for quality matrimonial and family legal advice, so we are now offering a Fixed Fee Scheme for clients who have gross annual income of £25,000 or less and net joint non pension assets of £200,000 or less. If you qualify for the Fixed Fee Scheme you will receive the same high level of service as our private clients, but you will have the certainty that your total costs will not exceed the Fixed Fee rate
Unfortunately we cannot offer this Scheme for cases which involve bankruptcy, trusts and assets outside of England and Wales.
